Hello all. I went to Shelter Island yesterday. Overall very slow, but I was thrilled to be able to land a nice halibut. Fish and game guy weighed it at 15.5. I thanked the fish gods profusely as I loaded steak and filet into my Food Saver! I just wish it was from my kayak that I got him, but had a great time with my dad and my uncle in their boat. Over all fishing seemed pretty slow (full moon night before?). My uncle landed a 6+ pound sandy and I got a two ish pound spottie on…
